The NexGen Advantage
NexGen provides renewable energy services that do not require districts to make large capital investments in equipment. NexGen funds, executes and operates the entire project while schools pay only for the renewable energy services they receive on a monthly basis. NexGen protects schools from the risks, headaches and capital investment associated with complex renewable energy systems.

Evaluation
NexGen’s team of engineers and analysts employ a rigorous review to evaluate each educational site. We examine renewable energy resources, facility energy use, land use and access, local incentives and regulatory policy. Using this information, NexGen configures a renewable energy system customized for each school.

Design and Permit
NexGen leads the designing and permitting effort from start to finish. We gather electrical and civil engineering documentation required for acquisition of easements, utility interconnection, zoning review and project permitting. Based on this information, NexGen produces a site-specific detailed design plan.

Project Development
Upon receiving the right to build, NexGen oversees all aspects of construction, assembly, installation and commissioning of each system using strict quality control guidelines.  Our engineering team has installed projects throughout the country and our experience ensures successful “no-headache” projects that do not interfere with the day-to-day operation of the school facility.

Maintenance
NexGen handles 100% of the ongoing operation and maintenance of the renewable energy system for the life of the program.  Customers incur no liability for equipment upkeep or failure.
